Len’s Island and the Cursed Underworld Update

Len’s Island is a crafting adventure game in early access that first launched in 2021. Since its launch, the game has evolved immensely over the years. The most recent patch – Cursed Underworld launched on September 10th bringing change to NPC distribution, revamping their weapon and tools systems and adding new content such as; armor, enchantments and CURSED dungeons to the game.

There are a total of 11 armor sets that were added to the game as part of the Cursed Underworld update. Each with their own unique attributes enhancing your gameplay. Review the armor sets are listed as below:

Today I will be walking you though the exact steps to acquire each and every armor gear set piece since with the new update.

Leather Gear Set

The leather gear set is the first armor set you will likely acquire and is easily purchasable on the starting island.

The Leather Gear Set provides +5% critical gear hit multiplier per set piece for a total of 20% critical hit multiplier in addition to +4 total armor.

• Leather Gambeson
  • Purchased immediately from Jared the Blacksmith on the starting island.
• Leather Bracers
  • Purchased from Jared the Blacksmith but will not be available until you have first purchased the Leather Gambeson and Iron Round Shield from him.
• Leather Helmet
  • Purchased from Jared the Blacksmith but will not be available until you have first purchased the Leather Gambeson and Iron Round Shield from him.
• Leather Greaves
  • Purchased from Jared the Blacksmith but will not be available until you have first purchased the Leather Gambeson and Iron Round Shield from him.

Knight’s Gear Set

The Knight’s Gear Set provides +5 increased max health per gear piece for a total of +20 max health in addition to +10 armor.

• Knight’s Bracers
  • Purchased from Jared the Blacksmith on the starting island but will not be available until you have first purchased the entire Leather Gear Set.
• Knight’s Chestplate
  • Purchased from Jared the Blacksmith on the starting island but will not be available until you have first purchased the entire Leather Gear Set.
• Knight’s Greaves
  • Purchased from Jared the Blacksmith on the starting island but will not be available until you have first purchased the entire Leather Gear Set.
• Knight’s Helmet
  • Rewarded to you after defeating the Void Boar in the second Dungeon – Taragon City – located on the Black Forest Island.

Spiked Gear Set

The Spiked Gear Set provides +10% damage reflected to enemy for the helmet and chestplate plus +5% reflected damage to enemy for the bracers and greaves for a total of 30% reflected damage in addition to +7 armor.

• Spiked Chestplate
  • Rewarded to you after clearing the tier 3 mini-dungeon Corrupted Monuments.
• Spiked Greaves
  • Rewarded to you after clearing the tier 3 mini dungeon Corrupted Tomb.
• Spiked Bracers
  • Rewarded to you after clearing the tier 3 mini dungeon Corrupted Chasm.
• Spiked Helmet
  • Rewarded to you after defeating the Void Troll in the tier 3 dungeon Ancient Tomb.

Sorcerer’s Gear Set

The Sorcerer’s Gear Set provides -20% ability cooldown per gear piece for a total of -80% ability cooldown in addition to +2 armor.

• Witches Hat
  • Purchased immediately from the vendor Centaine on the Desert Island.
• Sorcerer’s Mantle
  • Purchased immediately from the vendor Centaine on the Desert Island.
• Sorcerer’s Greaves
  • Purchased immediately from the vendor Centaine on the Desert Island.
• Sorcerer’s Bracers
  • Purchased immediately from the vendor Centaine on the Desert Island.

Druid’s Gear Set

The Druid’s Gear Set provides +3 HP heal every 60 seconds for the helmet, +2 HP heal every 60 seconds for the chestplate, and +1 HP heal every 60 seconds for the bracers and greaves for a total of +7 HP heal every 60 seconds in addition to +5 armor.

• Druid’s Bracers
  • Purchased immediately from Floyd-Radyr on Black Forest Island.
• Druid’s Chestplate
  • Purchased immediately from Floyd-Radyr on Black Forest Island.
• Druid’s Helmet
  • Also purchased from Floyd-Radyr but only become available after first purchasing the Bracer’s and Chestplate.
• Druid’s Greaves
  • Also purchased from Floyd-Radyr but only become available after first purchasing the Bracer’s and Chestplate.

Explorer’s Gear Set

The Explorer’s Gear Set provides +5% movement boost and -25% roll cooldown reduction per gear piece for a total of +10% movement boost and -50% roll cooldown reduction in addition to +1 armor.

• Explorer’s Hat
  • Purchased from Alex on the starting island after defeating the Void Boar in the second dungeon – Taragon City located on Black Forest Island.
• Explorer’s Satchel
  • Purchased from Alex on the starting island after defeating the Void Boar in the second dungeon – Taragon City located on Black Forest Island.

Farmer’s Gear Set

The Farmer’s Gear Set provides the ability to only damage fully grown crops when harvesting from the Farmer’s Hate and +25% extra seed chance from harvesting in addition to +0.5 armor.

• Farmer’s Bandana
  • Purchased from Steph on the starting island after first purchasing the Basic Watering Can.
• Farmer’s Hat
  • Purchased from Steph on the starting island after first purchasing the Farmer’s Bandana and Iron Scythe.

Fisherman’s Gear Set

The Fisherman’s Gear Set provides the ability to display fishing pools nearby. When both pieces of gear are equipped your map displays fishing pools for a wider range in addition to +1.0 armor.

• Tackle Vest
  • Purchased from Kevin on the starting island after first purchasing the Wooden Fishing Pole on the starting Island.
• Fisherman’s Fly Fishin Hat
  • Purchased from Kevin on the starting island after first purchasing the Wooden Fishing Pole on the starting Island.

Wrecked Gear Set

The Wrecked Gear Set provides +5% increases sail speed per gear piece for a total of +20% increase sail speed in addition to +8 armor.

• Wrecked Helmet
  • Found on a deserted island with a pirate flag that spawns randomly on your map. The helmet can be found on a skeleton’s body in the middle of the island.
• Wrecked Bracers
  • Found on a deserted island spawns randomly on your map. The bracers can be found at the peak of a jagged rock formation on the island.
• Wrecked Greaves
  • Found on a deserted island spawns randomly on your map. The greaves are found at the peak of a jagged rock formation on the island.
• Wrecked Chestplate
  • Located as buried treasure on an island as indicated by a big red X on the Treasure map that can be purchased from Lucky Jack on the starting island. Navigate to the island as indicated on the treasure map and use your pickaxe to mine where a red starfish is on the ground to dig up the chestplate.

Viking Gear Set

Unlock the Viking gear set by clearing Cursed versions of the tier 2 dungeons. Clear the basic versions of the dungeons first to unlock the cursed versions. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to trigger their cursed versions by spending Dark Essence at the obelisk at the dungeon entrance.

The Viking Gear Set provides +1 Fury to become engaged when at low health per gear piece for a total of +4 Fury to become engaged when at low health in addition to +6 armor

• Viking Chestplate
  • Rewarded to you after clearing the tier 2 cursed mini dungeon Cursed Markets.
• Viking Bracers
  • Rewarded to you after clearing the tier 2 cursed mini dungeon Cursed Outpost.
• Viking Greaves
  • Rewarded to you after clearing the tier 2 cursed mini dungeon Cursed Mines.
• Viking Helmet
  • Rewarded to you after clearing the tier 2 cursed mini dungeon Cursed City.

Ancient Gear Set

To unlock the Ancient gear set you will need to clear the Cursed versions of the tier 3 dungeons. To uncover the cursed versions of the dungeons first clear their regular versions. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to trigger their cursed versions by spending Dark Essence at the obelisk at the dungeon entrance.

The Ancient Gear Set provides -8% movement speed and +25% elemental damage blocking for the chestplate and helmet plus 100% immunity to being set on fire from the helmet. The bracers and greaves provide -5% movement speed and +15% elemental damage blocking in addition to a total of +8 armor.

• Ancient Chestplate
  • Is rewarded to you after clearing the tier 3 cursed mini-dungeon Cursed Monuments.
• Ancient Bracers
  • Are rewarded to you after clearing the tier 3 cursed mini-dungeon Cursed Chasm.
• Ancient Greaves
  • Are rewarded to you after clearing the tier 3 cursed mini-dungeon Cursed Tombs.
• Ancient Helmet
  • Is rewarded to you after clearing the tier 3 cursed mini-dungeon Cursed Tombs located on the main Desert Island.
