The Len’s Island team launched their BIGGEST UPDATE EVER on September 10th, 2023 – Cursed Underworld. This Len’s Island Cursed Underworld Overview will educate you on of the key points of new and/or changed content as a result of this patch. If you are a returning player don’t worry, your existing save files will still work. However, the developer team does recommend that you start a new playthrough.

New Content and Features Overview
Cursed Dungeons
Dive into ‘cursed’ versions of each of the games dungeons for an increased challenge and better rewards. After clearing each of the games dungeons you will now have the opportunity to spend Dark Essence at the dungeons obelisk to launch a cursed version of the dungeon. Undoubtedly these dungeons will have more enemies with various buffs to provide a challenge to even the most experienced Len’s Island player. Fortunately, with a greater challenge comes greater rewards with new prizes awaiting you at the end of the cursed dungeons.
Armor
Brand new armor sets and outfits were added to the game. In totality there are are now 11 armor sets and outfits used to enhance your combat or gameplay. As an example improving your farming or accelerating your sailing.
Enchanting
Retrieve the 12 Enchantment Runes that have been added in the Cursed Underworld update and can be acquired throughout the game. Once in your possession combine the runes with the Enchantment table. Enchanting your weapons and tools provides unique abilities to ease your combat or enhance your resource gathering!
Cursed Underworld New Mode Overview
Peaceful Mode
Slip on into Len’s Island new Peaceful mode. This new mode takes much of the survival aspects of Len’s Island for those players looking for a more casual and relaxed experienced in this world.
Cursed Underworld Map Revamp Overview
Bridgewater No More
Len’s Island veterans might be surprised to see that the central town of Bridgewater is no more. Explore the 3 brand new smaller towns scattered across the archipelago with each small town sporting some favorite NPCS and some old ones returning as well!
Procedural Caves Added
Len’s Island’s map has doubled in size with the addition of an underground labyrinth mirrored below the familiar archipelago. Spelunk for new adventures and collect brand new valuable resources used in crafting and building your new home on Len’s Island!
